JULY'S COMMANDER NOTE

Comrades:

I hope to see everyone at our July 3rd Hog Roast and Car Show. We are proud to celebrate our Nations Independence at our Post and all are welcome to join us! We will have a large circus tent set up in the South parking lot, so don’t let the rain stop you from coming down and having a great time with us. We will have a beer garden and band set up under the tent. If you have a car, bike, military vehicle or anything else you would like to show off, bring it down. There is no registration fee to enter a vehicle and no one will be judging so everyone who enters is a winner!

If you’re a Post member in good standing please join us for the post meeting. Our Post meetings are the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. It is your Post and your participation at the meeting is valued and needed! This month we will be voting on Post By-Law amendments as well as the position of Quartermaster and 2 Year House Committee. Come join us and cast your vote!

I would like to thank Ron Weadick for his hard work and determination on membership. He told us he would get us to 100% and he did. Thanks all the hard work Ron!

I would also like to thank Dave Fradenburg for his work on getting us into the Wayne County Festival of Murals. It was a process to get everything set up and going but we are finally getting a new look on the back of our Post. Dan Toro is the artist assigned to us and he came all the way from Laramie, Wyoming to participate in the Festival. Stop by and take a look at the progress so far. As with all art it’s kind of hard to see the finished product until its finished but I’m confident that everyone will be impressed with the new look.
